This is Tiki. Tiki has been a companion and friend to my oldest daughter for the last 4 years or so. My daughter will be leaving for college in a few months and has decided it would be better if Tiki went to a home that could devote the time and love that she needs. She is used to a loud, large family with many children and many dogs running around and she joins in on the noise and chaos everyday. She does make a lot of noise if there is noise around her, but during the day when the kids are off to school and it's quiet, she stays pretty quiet. Tiki also loves to get down and dance to music, all types of music.
Tiki's home is a large floor cage. It is cinnamon red, metal, has 4 rolling wheels, 4 feeding bowls, toys, several natural wood perches, seed guard and two trays for substrate. The top has an additional perch for taking her outside of the cage. I have included a picture of the cage from a website because it shows it against a solid background making it easier to see the full cage. Please note that the cage is not new and Tiki has been living in it for over a year now.
Size is approximately 57" H x 18" W x 18" D
PINEAPPLE CONURE INFORMATION
A pinapple conure is a color variation of a green-cheeked conure. Regardless of color, green-cheeked conures are playful, intelligent and affectionate parrots. They are popular with parrot enthusiasts who have limited space for a bird, as they are small and relatively quiet. Green-cheeked conures can learn to say a few words and can be taught tricks. They enjoy human attention, but can be prone to biting. They do well on a basic diet of appropriately sized parrot pellets supplemented with fruits and vegetables. A well-cared-for conure can live up to 30 years.
