If you’re new to real estate investing, you may find partnering to be a new concept. But really it’s simple.
Sometimes we see a property that we want, but we don’t want to commit that much hard cash to the purchase. So what do we do?
One thing we can do is go in with a partner. The partner puts up 10% or 20% or 40% of the money, and shares in 10% or 20% or 40% of the rental income. Or maybe shares in an agreed-upon amount of the profit after the rehab or resale. The details differ in each case, but you get the idea.
