Nana Sushi Restaurant is located at 14 Victoria Crescent, Nanaimo, BC V9R 5B8. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Japanese (sushi) cook. If you are interested, please submit your resume by mail or e-mail.

Position: Cook

Wages: CAD$16.00/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Free meals at work and tips

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook Japanese sushi food items (Sashimi, Sushi, Maki, Roll, etc.) in cooperation with the rest of the staff;
• Oversee sushi bar operation;
• Maintain inventory and records of food;
• Train sushi bar staff.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience required
• Completion of secondary school
