Position: Chef

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $18.38 - $22.00/hour (depending on experience)

Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Benefits:

Job Duties:

• Prepares main menu items and specialty foods
• Purchase kitchen supplies and food ingredients
• Prepare and cook food for special guests or functions
• Cook meals or specialty foods
• Involve in hiring, training kitchen staff
• Ensure food quality meets standards
• Create menus and new recipes
• Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs
• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory

Educational Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is required.

Experience Requirements:

• 2 ~ 3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
