Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager

Wages: CAD$25.00/hour

Working Hours: 30~40 hrs/week

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Free meals at work

Job Duties:

• Communicate between restaurant manager and front & back staff in order to improve services and operations;

• Assist manager with setting up work & shift schedules and monitoring staff performance;

• Monitor and manage guest complaints to ensure customers’ satisfaction and administer efficient follow-ups to receive feedbacks;

• Train and instruct employees to ensure smooth transitions;

• Assist employee teams to provide excellent customer services;

• Maintain inventory and keep records of receipts, bill payments and etc.;

• Check consumption of food ingredients and left-over to order and negotiate with suppliers;

• Make arrangements and negotiate with suppliers on provisions of food and other supplies.

   

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school

• 2~3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience required
