Scale Hospitality Group is looking for full time Pastry Cook at 488 Wellington St W, Toronto, ON M5V 1E3, Canada. There are 2 positions available.
Main duties are as follows but not limited to:
• Responsible for preparing high quality pastry items for service in a premium restaurant
• Set up cooking station with all the necessary baking ingredients and equipment
• Oversee kitchen operations such as Dishwashers, Servers, and Expeditors.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• May clean kitchen and work area
• May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food
requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Adhere to the recipes provided by the Pastry Chef
• May hire and train kitchen staff.
Hours of work are 40 hours/week. Work hours can be anytime during the morning, day, evening or night. Pay is $16/hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed high school. Minimum work experience is 2 years hands on experience.
