Sushi Mori is seeking F/T Cooks.

Position: Cook

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $16 per hour

Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week

Benefits:

•  4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook Japanese dishes including sashimi, sushi, and rolls
• Set staff work schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
• Ensure food service and quality meet the standards
• Keep records and accounts of food, supplies, and equipment
• Monitor stock of supplies, ingredients, and place orders when there are shortages
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements and costs
• May hire staff and train them in preparation and cooking of food
• Manage kitchen operations

Educational Requirements:

•  Completion of Secondary school

Experience Requirements:

• 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

• English
