The online data entry operator is responsible for operating a data entry machine in a home office. The job is manning machines that are used to enter data into spreadsheets, databases, and other applications. It requires very little training, and the job is fairly repetitive.

1. Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and applications
2. Perform statistical analysis on data entered by operators
3. Perform basic math (comparisons) on file entries (e.g., sum, divide, etc.)
4. Answer technical questions in support forums or through email using available resources (e.g., Google, Microsoft Word) to help operators with their queries
5. Manage time spent in the office and submit reports to management on the time spent in the office and how it was spent
6. Assist operators with software updates or install new software packages when needed.
