Sales Representative, Machinery - Akron/Canton, Ohio - JOB 20-00306

Salary Range: $40K - $55K plus commission - Permanent Position with Benefits.

Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.

Akron/Canton Manufacturing Company is seeking a Sales Representative. The Sales Representative should have experience with custom machinery OR extrusion die equipment. They will manage all sales functions to include sales proposals. Work closely with engineering and operations team in the transferring of orders. In conjunction with the marketing department develop a message of innovation and product differentiation. Attend trade shows as needed. Set annual sales goals. Conduct monthly sales reviews to check the progress of these goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical or Business.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience with custom machinery OR extrusion dies required.
  • Extrusion Machinery experience highly desired.
  • Able to travel regionally up to 60%-70% of the time.  (Ohio & surrounding states)
  • Experience working with clients, vendors, etc.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Must have good analytical skills
  • Must have a high attention to detail.
  • Team Player
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) experienced.


Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

Salary Range:
