Project Estimator (Electrical / Electronic Controls) - Youngstown , Ohio - JOB 23-00062

Salary Range: $50k - $60k Permanent Position with Benefits.

Youngstown, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Electrical / Electronic Controls Project Estimator

REQUIREMENTS

• High School
• Tech School, Associate or Bachelor Degree in engineering or another related field from an accredited institution preferred
• Past experience as an estimator
• Electronic controls knowledge to include: wiring PLCs & Motor Control Systems, electrical and pneumatic process instrument control panels
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and single-line drawings for electrical control panels and fabrication drawings
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, design team, and production department
• Help establish Bills of Materials for parts and labor to produce custom electrical, instrument, and pneumatic controls for the chemical, environmental, food, pulp and paper, rubber, petroleum, pharmaceutical, glass, metals, and utilities industries.
• Assist with customer interaction, scope of job, cost estimates, bills of material, and project design
• Assist with and help oversee accuracy of fabrication, operation, application, & installation of small electrical control panel structural steel enclosure buildings
• Knowledge of electrical systems and code requirements (NEC, UL, CSA, and NFPA) preferred
• Review all specs and drawings and interact with engineering to verify compliance with local building codes
• AutoCAD and or Inventor knowledge is a plus
