Structural Fitter Welder

Pay: $24+/HR.

Hours: Monday – Friday 5:30PM-3AM

Job type: Temp to Hire

Location: Catoosa, Oklahoma

Weld Test: 2G & 3G open root, 1/8” gap with MIG root pass. Flux fill and cap with all stringer beads no weave process.

The Structural Fitter Welder is responsible for laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated components to assemble structural forms, ensuring precise assembly and repairs.

What you’ll be doing:

• Reading blueprints and selecting equipment for the layout, assembly, and welding of structural components.
• Positioning, aligning, and fitting parts together manually or with overhead/jib cranes.
• Setting up welding machinery, adjusting wire feed and voltage, and using arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment.
• Dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts for product repairs.
• Operating cutting torches, plasma torches, saw machines, and iron machines for cutting, coping, and notching materials.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of structural fitting experience required.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading for layout purposes.
• Experience with arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment setup and operation.
• Skilled in using cutting torches, plasma torches, and other fabrication tools.
