Job Position: Structural Welder (Day Shift)
Pay Range: $18 - $21 per hour
Location: East Tulsa, OK
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays)
Job Type: Temp to Hire

Position Overview

The Structural Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks on various materials, including stainless steel, carbon, and aluminum. The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise in MIG and Flux Core welding and be capable of passing a 3G weld test on a one-inch plate. This position requires physical stamina and proficiency with hand and measurement tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Welding Proficiency: Perform MIG and flux core welding on stainless steel, carbon, and aluminum.
• Weld Testing: Pass a MIG and flux core 3G weld test on a one-inch plate.
• Material Handling: Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material.
• Physical Activity: Regular walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing as part of daily tasks.
• Tool Usage: Skilled in the use of basic hand and measurement tools.
• Welding Technique: Experience in laying multiple passes with flux core wire feed.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience with MIG and flux core welding, particularly on stainless steel, carbon, and aluminum.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools and measurement instruments.
• Weld Test: Must pass a MIG and flux core 3G weld test on a one-inch plate.
