Requirements: A minimum of high school or equivalent education and a minimum of 4 years Commercial electrical experience. Preferred vocational/trades school certificate with knowledge of National Electric Code and theory; ability to continue education and pass licensing exams preferred; ability to adapt to various working environments, mostly working 3rd shift Monday through Thursday, traveling as needed; Understanding of electrical equipment/maintenance/repairs; Must pass drug screening, background check and have a valid driver's license/photo ID. Must have all basic tools including cordless drill, hard hat, steel toe boots and safety glasses. Must be able to read and understand blueprints; Refrigeration experience a Plus.
Duties: ( May include but not limited ) Perform journeyman level duties in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment systems and components; work on transformers, controllers, motors, HVAC units; Involved in the installation of conduit, cable trays, raceways, wiring and any other electrical related duties as assigned by the foreman/project manager. Must be able to bend, cut and install 1/2" - 2" EMT and PVC; experience bending offsets, kicks, 90's etc; pulling wire, MC Wire, low voltage installations only. Must work well with others and be prepared to continue working in the absence of supervisor; compensation will be based on experience.
