Job Title: Instrument Fitter
Pay: $25/hour+ (Based on Experience)
Shift: Monday–Saturday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12-hour shifts; potential for 7-day work weeks)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Fitter to join our team in Broken Arrow, OK. This position involves the precise mounting, installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation systems according to engineering specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial settings and experience with a wide range of instrumentation and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Mount and install instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves according to engineering specifications
• Calibrate instruments to ensure precise measurements and proper system functionality
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot, repair, or replace faulty instruments to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of installations, calibrations, maintenance activities, and system modifications
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proficiency in small bore tubing fabrication (1/4" to 1"), using hand and crank-type bending equipment
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, speed squares, and angle finders
• Strong knowledge of valves, pressure regulators, and valve actuators
• Experience working with hydraulic systems, including fabrication of flexible hydraulic assemblies
• Background in pump installation, alignment, high-pressure systems, and cryogenics

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to perform physical activities including lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, sitting, and carrying
• Ability to work at elevated heights (up to 50 feet), including ladder use

Preferred Education

• High school diploma
