Fabrication Operator

• Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
• Location: Tulsa, OK
• Pay: $16–$18 per hour (Based on Experience)
• Shift Differential: Additional 11.5% on all hours worked
• Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview

A Tulsa-based company is seeking a Fabrication Operator to join their team at a climate-controlled facility specializing in the production of sheet metal components. This position involves the operation of various fabrication equipment and tools to support production processes.

Essential Functions

• Utilize saws and drills to mill, tap, sand, cut, deburr, and grind metal parts.
• Work with parts coming from the laser operator’s table and prepare them for the next phase of production.

Requirements

• Must have industrial saw experience.
• Minimum 2 years of fabrication experience in an industrial setting.
• Proficient in the use of hand grinders, belt sanders, and measuring tools (e.g., tape measures).
• Experience operating industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be team-oriented and self-sufficient.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This is a safety-sensitive position, involving tasks that directly impact the safety and health of the employee and others. Duties include:

• Handling and transporting hazardous materials.
• Operating vehicles, machinery, and power tools.
• Monitoring and maintaining critical infrastructure and systems.
• Working with volatile, flammable, or hazardous components.

Additional physical requirements:

• Frequent standing, bending, squatting, and climbing throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 lbs, often without mechanical assistance.
• Work may involve confined spaces and tight work areas.
