Researchers in the Adult Language and Cognition Lab at the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences, Portland State University are recruiting healthy adults as well as individuals with stroke and aphasia for a new *paid* research study investigating the relationship between cognition and everyday communication in individuals following strokes.
If you choose to participate, you will be asked to engage in various tasks that involve cognition and language testing. The time required to participate in this study will be 2-4 hours (spread across 1-2 days), which will take place at the Adult Language and Cognition Lab at Portland State University or at your home. Participants will receive monetary compensation for completing the study. The research study has been approved by Portland State University’s Institutional Review Board (HRRP # 238240-18). Participants will receive monetary compensation for their time.
