Part-time Bookkeeper 
We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper for our client in the private investment industry. This is a permanent part-time role, estimated at 20-hours per week with a flexible schedule. .

Job Qualifications:

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and Online, Excel, Word & Office 365
• 5+ years of full scope bookkeeping/accounting experience, including payroll
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred but not required
• Competent in understanding basic through intermediate accounting principles and application
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of confidentiality, discernment, and judgement
• Strong work ethic
• Attention to details
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to take initiative to perform tasks as needed
• Adaptable for changing priorities
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation of deposits, check writing, bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate bank account balances
• Tracking all details of investments
• Preparing bi-monthly payroll, and all quarterly and annual reporting
• Preparing Yearly 1099s for vendors
• Reconciling accounts as needed
• Reconciling credit card statements monthly
• Organizing records for five tax returns, preparation by outside accounting firm
• Monitoring and ordering office supplies, coffee etc. as needed
• Working with building management for any problems or issues within the suite or property
• General office upkeep
• Additional duties as assigned
