Description

Do them for the right reasons, (tithe, fellowship, attend church)!

This is a KJV Bible study guide!

Why should you “tithe”? Tithe where you are fed the true word of God, not false doctrines, traditions and commandments of men. Traditional teachings lead you to believe that you can buy blessings and salvation; not so, they are not for sale. What is the truly important matter? The important matter is to support the teaching of God's true word (Christ's doctrines only, no traditions of men); feed more people with the truth. See 2 John 1:9-11.

What is the purpose of true “fellowship”? 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 tells you (to be able to edify and warn others). It's about the other person more than you. Is true fellowship meant to be self-centered, only benefiting you? See the following verses for your answer: Proverbs 27:17; Ecclesiastes 4:9; Romans 1:12; Galatians 6:1-2; Philippians 2:1-5; Philemon 1:6; Hebrews 10:25. You will benefit, but, it's about the other person mostly that may not know the truth according to God's word. There are many more verses similar to these.

Assembling has a purpose”!

“Wrong” reasons follow: to socialize only, to further business contacts, to satisfy an obligation that you feel, for traditional reasons, don’t be guilty of playing church, etc.

“Right” reasons follow: learn more of God's Word, advance in understanding of His Word, learn the signs of the end times, to edify yourself and become able to share the true word correctly with others and edify them. Does this happen where you assemble? If not, then why do you go there?

Supplement what you might learn while assembling and fellowshipping by studying the whole Bible yourself, everyday if possible. Studying the whole Bible on your own is extremely important. Learn what you have been missing, connect the dots; it is absolutely amazing. Acts 17:10-11 is a good example.

Hopefully you see that these 3 actions are done for the benefit of others mostly. Of course, you will benefit as well if you do these 3 things for the right reasons. None of these actions are meant to be self-centered, benefiting only you, please remember that. Again, learn the truth by studying God's word in whole. See the following verses: John 17:17 and 2 Timothy 2:15 (God commands us to study His word). Have you obeyed this command?

A little food for thought: If you want to be free from the bondage of deception, (caused by listening to false teachers, those that are biblically illiterate, liars, those that preach “idle”, untrue words, etc.), learn the truth by studying the word of God completely as we are commanded to do; don’t be destroyed for lack of knowledge of God’s word. Another really good reason to study is you will not hear God’s word today where you should hear His word (in church).

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

(That famine for hearing the Word of the Lord is upon us now. People are starving for the truth in the Word. Sadly, fairy tales, false teachings, traditions and commandments of men, idle words, are all that are taught in most churches today. You can overcome the famine by actually studying the word of God yourself; what a concept)!

By studying the Bible yourself you will discover amazing things that, sadly, you will never hear while sitting in a church pew.

“Right is right even when everyone is against it; wrong is wrong even when everyone is for it”. (William Penn) Born October, 1644. Died July, 1718.
