Well-Preserved Time Capsule 1967 Ferrari 330GT Series II 2+2 with Matching Numbers
This time capsule 1967 330GT Series II 2+2 is a matching numbers example that was born in the same color combination it wears today – 'Argento' (silver) over 'Nero Franzi' carpeting. It was originally delivered in Belgium on August 28th, 1966. However, the car did not have to wait long to get back to its motherland when it was purchased by an Italian gentleman on October 7th of the same year. Ten years later, in 1976, the car found its way to sunny California where it was nearly daily driven for the next 8 years before being parked in a garage in 1984. It remained there for the next 38 years undisturbed. Pretty much in barn find condition today, this 330GT remains beautifully untouched. It was recently taken to Ferrari specialist, Black Horse, in Thousand Oaks, CA where it was restarted and driven smoothly on a few short-distance drives. This highly original Series II 330GT wearing its original color combination is a fantastic candidate for preservation.
