Job Duties / Job requirements:

• Reports directly to area lead, shop manager, and other management personnel.
• Learns and uses safety procedures, uses PPE, and other safety items for the work being performed.
• Sets up, performs, and controls the operation of hand and electric deburring tools, and machines.
• Performs a series of deburring operations by hand, or machine sanding and tumble deburring.
• Reads job order, and tooling instructions to determine the deburring requirement.
• Selects, changes, and adjusts the quantity and type of deburring media.
• Cleans materials using water and soap, and then dries materials using appropriate media.
• Loads and unloads deburred and dried media from tumble deburring machines.
• Inspects deburred parts to ensure quality specifications by touch and sight.
• Notifies area lead, management, and quality personnel when corrective action for production is required.
• Cross-trains and supports other areas as requested.
• Performs other duties as requested by area lead and/or management.

• Communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak)
• Reliable transportation to get to work daily. (Perfect attendance is mandatory for direct hire.)

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00-2:30 pm End of September- Normal Shift 7:00-3:30 pm
