Oh! Zzhu Sam Korean Restaurant in Burnaby, BC is looking for competent Cooks to join our team.

Job Position: Cook

Number of Job Vacancies: 2

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hourly Wage: C$17.62~C$18.50 (depending on experience)

Work Hours: 30~40 hours per week

Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary

Job Location: Burnaby, BC

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook Korean dishes from menu including stir fried baby octopus, fried chicken, hot pot, soups etc.
• Prepare ingredients such as baby octopus, prawn, pork and chicken for signature stir fried dishes 
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Supervise and train kitchen helpers
• Ensure quality of food and proper size of food portions
• Maintain inventory and records of food, kitchen supplies and equipment and order supplies
• Clean and kitchen and work area

Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required.

A minimum of 2 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
