CAD Detailer (Structural Steel) - Akron, Ohio - JOB 24-00097

Salary Range: $60k - $70k+ Permanent Position with Benefits.

Akron, Ohio design firm is seeking to hire a Structural Steel Detailer with AutoCAD / Autodesk CAD proficiency .

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate Degree Civil Structural or Architectural
• 2+ years' experience modifying drawings as red-marked, checking plots, interpret architectural/structural documents, track budgeted time per sheet, draw elevations, plans and sections
• AutoCAD / Autodesk CAD proficiency to detail stairs, platforms, catwalks, mixer bridges, elevated walkways…
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
• Detail oriented / Organized
• Detailer with knowledge of deadload/windload connections with an understanding of system movements due to thermal, live-load and dead-load and system air/water integrity is a strongly preferred
