We are now seeking a skilled Web Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintain our web server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading web server hardware and software, ensuring optimal server performance, implementing network traffic and security monitoring tools to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service for our clients.

Job duties:

• Ensure the web servers are functioning effectively, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Implement measures to monitor and optimize the flow of network traffic and safeguarding the servers against security threats.
• Supervise the use of email and web browsing, and software installations.
• Resolve all support requests to the satisfaction of customers in good time, and to ensure the delivery of excellent service continuously and high quality of web products and services.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure that the web infrastructure aligns with overall goals and supports all operational aspects efficiently.
• Staying abreast of the latest trends in web technology and security practices.

Qualification Requirements:

• Completion of a college diploma program in computer science, web development, web technology or a related field.
• Experience in web technician or other related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of web tools and programming languages.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex web and software issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
