Job Description:

- Wage: $26.11 / Hour

- Number of work hours: 30 - 40 hours per week

- Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

- Benefit: 4% gross salary or 10 days of paid vacation, extended medical insurance after 6 months of employment.

Job Duties:

• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, which provide a snapshot of the company’s financial health and performance.
• Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills.
• Ensure that the company is in compliance with all tax laws and regulations, and that all tax payments and filings are made on time.
• Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports.
• Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.

Job Requirements:

-  Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

-  Experience: Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of two years of a recognized professional accounting program or courses in accounting or bookkeeping OR equivalent experience is required.
