Job Description

To join our finance team in Chennai, we are looking for a careful and seasoned accountant. You will be in charge of creating financial reports, making sure that all legal requirements are met, monitoring and keeping correct financial records, and assisting with the organization's general financial well-being.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.

Prepare and process journal entries and reconciliations.

Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow).

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, Ind AS) and financial reporting.

Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle Financials) and MS Office Suite (especially advanced Excel skills).

Comprehensive knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.) and statutory compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification: Any Degree related to Accounting and Finance

Experience: 3+ yrs
