Job Description

Focus: In a business setting situated in Chennai, place special emphasis on the fundamental abilities of maintaining financial records, creating financial statements, guaranteeing compliance, and assisting with financial operations.

Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

What you’ll Do:

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for our Chennai operations.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements in India.

Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations in India, including GST, TDS, and income tax, and assist with the preparation and filing of statutory returns for our Chennai business.

Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both physical and electronic, in compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards applicable in India.

What you need:

Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with accounting software commonly used in Chennai is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in our Chennai office.
