Roles and Responsibilities:

As an Accountant with GST Knowledge based in Chennai, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely compliance with GST regulations. This role will significantly enhance your accounting and taxation skills, deepen your understanding of GST laws and procedures specific to Tamil Nadu and India, and provide you with opportunities to manage financial transactions and contribute to the financial health of our Chennai operations. You will learn to accurately record financial data, prepare GST returns, and stay updated on the latest GST rules and amendments.

Skills:

strong knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.

comprehensive understanding of the Indian Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act, rules, and regulations, with particular attention to the state GST of Tamil Nadu.

expertise in accurately preparing and submitting GST returns on time.

knowledge of GST reconciliation procedures, such as comparing purchase records and GSTR-2A/2B.

Experience: 1 to 6 yrs

Qualification: Any Degree related to Accounting
