Newly single 52 year old Marine with prior certification and home health care experience as a live-in. I do not drive (I have a neurological disorder) but no other major issues. I take care of everything but transportation to include: house cleaning/laundry, yard maintenance, minor houshold maintenance, and most importantly making your family member feel safe, secure, and loved 24/7. I do not care about a time clock but I need a minumum of six months commitment regardless of patient. Accustomed to making sure that your loved one is not just cared for but I take the time needed to make people feel good. I took care of my mom before her passing, it was the hardest thing I ever had to do putting her in hospice for those last few months as her care became too much to not have a doctor right there but it was also one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I also cared for my ex-wife's uncle, in Phenix City Alabama up until his death as a live in. Again his passing hit hard but the rewards are endless. I will NOT deal with social security. YOU know they are ridiculous. They don't pay and when they do it's like pulling tires off a semi without jacking it up, you may be able to do it but good luck getting it done today! I have references and will work with you as I just want to live I don't care about money except for my basic needs. I do have a service dog I would like to be included but my ex can take her. I have been on LOA from my company of over well over three years now dealing with my divorce, which is why I want to go back to helping others.
