COWBOY has a sweet baby-face with an old-time mustache due to his colors as a LYNX POINT HIMALAYAN. He is 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, vaccinated, has his claws and weighs about 7.5 lbs.

Cowboy was surrendered by a breeder along with several other gorgeous Himalayans. He and a roommate were the most reluctant to transition from the company of cats to the company of humans. They were terribly matted and had to be sedated to be groomed (with a chaser of Churu), after which they felt so much better and no longer had fear of their fur being pulled. From that, they learned Churu is delicious and became eager to step outside their comfort zone to get more.

During his socialization, he has also developed a love of being massaged..,around his cheeks, his chin, and down his back. He continues to learn how to play and enjoys DaBird attachment hanging on a string from his tower. He is also attracted to a yellow, plastic jingle-ball. He would appreciate his new home to provide a heated pet-bed where he knows he can keep warm since he is shaved. Cowboy enjoys climbing on a couple of towers and uses the sisal posts for all of his scratching needs.

Cowboy needs a home with adults and easy-going cat(s). He would not do well with children nor dogs.  He eats dry food and benefits from wet food too.
