Trouble Sleeping?

Say the one prayer that Jesus prayed to His Heavenly Father: The Lord’s Prayer: 

Our Father, who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Add the Second Prayer, The Hail Mary:

Hail Mary Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Key Reasons for Praying to Mary

• Intercession: 

Catholics ask Mary to pray for them to Jesus, believing her prayers are especially effective because of her closeness to God. 

• Mother of God: 

As the mother of Jesus, she has a special relationship with Him, making her a powerful go-between for people's needs. 

• Model of Faith: 

Her "yes" to God at the Annunciation makes her an example of perfect faith and obedience for Catholics to follow. 

• Communion of Saints: 

Through the communion of saints, the living can ask the saints in heaven (like Mary) to pray for them. 

• Spiritual Mother: 

Jesus gave Mary to believers as a spiritual mother, establishing her role as a maternal figure for all Christians. 

• Empathy: 

Having experienced human joy, sorrows, and suffering, Mary understands human struggles and can empathize with people's needs.

Remembering that you Are Not Worshipping Mary but praying for her help. To put you in the Lord’s Light, no matter how terrible you have been in your actions onto others!

God’s # 1: Commandment “You shall have no other gods before me". Jesus later emphasized that you must Love the Lord Thy God with all your heart, soul and mind. As you shall have no other Gods before me, meaning an idol! An ‘Idol’ which isn’t just a carved image, but anything given first place in your life, replacing God's role.
