Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) instructs believers not to be anxious, but to replace worry with prayer, petition, and thanksgiving in every situation. By presenting requests to God, a, transcendent peace that surpasses human understanding will guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. 

• Verse 6: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God".
