Reflections on Hurt!

At the Last Supper, knowing that betrayal is already in motion, Jesus does something unexpected. “... He loved them to the end.” (John 13:1).

He doesn't withdraw or accuse. Instead, He kneels to wash feet, breaks bread and then offers a morsel to Judas, His betrayer. This small gesture is immense: it is love's final reach, a last invitation, a refusal to give up. In the face of rejection, Jesus chooses to love. In that moment, we see the heart of God: a love that does not wait to be deserved, a forgiveness offered before it is even asked for

A Prayer Sent to Me!

Lord Jesus,
You loved to the very end, even when Your love was not returned.
When I am hurt, give me the strength not to close my heart.
Help me to forgive, not because it is easy,
but because it brings freedom and peace.
Let Your mercy flow through me,
that no darkness may overcome Your light within me.
You are my hope.
