Job Description:

Load, unload and transport construction materials

Perform pre-operational inspection

Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades

Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt

Level earth to fine grade specifications

Perform routine maintenance work

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Build retaining walls, interlock pads, decks and fences

May drive between work locations

Requirements

Education: Some secondary education is required

Experience: At least 7 months of construction experience is required

Valid driver’s licence (class G) is an asset.

Salary: $27.00 hourly, 37.5 – 69 hours per week

Benefits: Transportation among work locations provided by the employer, travel expenses paid by the employer if the worker needs to relocate.

Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The worker will work 5 to 6 days per week, 8 – 12 hours per day scheduled between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Overtime and work on weekends is required. Work on holidays may be required depending on the business needs.
