Job Description:

Perform pre-operational inspection

Read blueprints to determine work requirements

Instruct apprentices

Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs

Assist in demolishing buildings

Perform routine maintenance work

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

May drive to and from work locations

Requirements

Education: Some secondary education is required

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the trade is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Manual dexterity, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Hand-eye coordination, Sound discrimination, Sitting.

Language: English is required

Driver's license type G is an asset

Salary: $36.00 hourly, 30 - 40 hours per week.   

Important Information: The regular schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
