To join our Chennai manufacturing team, we are looking for a driven and astute Production Engineer. Enhancing productivity, cutting expenses, and making sure our production processes run smoothly will be your responsibilities. Strong problem-solving abilities, a grasp of manufacturing principles, and the capacity to collaborate with production teams are necessary for this position.

Responsibilities

Examine our Chennai facility's current production procedures to find areas where cost-effectiveness, quality, and efficiency can be increased.

Create and execute production workflows, layouts, and procedures that are optimised while taking Chennai's local resources and limitations into account.

Create and update work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing activities.

To spot patterns and put corrective measures in place, track and examine production data (output, cycle times, yields, and downtime).

Investigate production problems and put fixes in place to reduce downtime and increase output at our Chennai factory.

Skills:

strong knowledge of the principles and procedures of manufacturing.

familiarity with methods for process optimisation and improvement.

strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

knowledge of data analysis methods and tools.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech

Experience: 3+ yrs
