Job Description

Your Impact:

Setting up and running lathe machines to create precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings and requirements will be your responsibility as an ITI Turner. Strong knowledge of lathe operations, tooling, and accurate measurement methods are necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up lathe machines with appropriate tools, fixtures, and work holding devices as per job requirements and engineering drawings.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine dimensional specifications, tolerances, and machining sequences.

Perform first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks.

Identify and report any deviations from specifications or machine malfunctions.

Perform basic machine maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

What you Need:

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.

Basic knowledge of different metals and their machinability.

Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

Educational Qualification: Any ITI Graduation  

Experience: Freshers
