Role & responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the strength calculations of the pressure parts in a project. The mechanical calculations will be subject to approval by Authorized Inspector (ASME) or notified body (EN).

Strength calculations according to international codes and standards such as ASME & EN codes.
Strength calculations of HRSG/boiler pressure parts in compliance with all contract specifications, applicable design codes (including local requirements) and the NEM-Energy internal quality guidelines. Create the necessary calculation packages for approval by AI or NOBO.
Set priorities in the engineering team with respect to progress of the calculation work package.
