Are you a skilled Press Tool Operator based in Chennai with a strong understanding of power press operations and a commitment to producing high-quality stamped components?

Join our well-established production team at our Chennai-based company and use your proficiency with handling press tools and operating a variety of power presses to produce metal stampings in accordance with requirements. Your operational abilities are highly regarded in our steady, growth-oriented workplace.

Responsibilities:

Operate various types of power presses (e.g., mechanical, hydraulic) to stamp, form, and cut metal parts according to blueprints and work instructions.

Set up press tools and dies accurately, ensuring proper alignment and clamping.

Adjust press settings such as stroke length, pressure, and speed to achieve desired results.

Load and unload workpieces safely and efficiently.

Monitor press operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications.

Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on press machines and tooling.

Inspect stamped parts for quality, including dimensional accuracy and visual defects, using measuring tools

Qualification:

Strong understanding of power press operations and safety procedures.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

Experience in setting up and operating various types of press tools and dies.

Familiarity with different types of metals and their stamping characteristics.

Skill in using basic measuring tools to check part dimensions and quality.

Education: Any ITI / Diploma Graduation

Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
