Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and results-oriented Paintshop Quality Engineer to join our team. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of quality in our paint shop operations

Requirements:

Inspect and evaluate painted parts for defects such as orange peel, runs, sags, fisheyes, and other surface imperfections.

Conduct visual inspections and utilize appropriate measuring instruments to assess paint film thickness, color consistency, and adherence.

Collect, analyze, and report on paint shop quality data, including defect rates, rework rates, and other key performance indicators

Investigate and analyze root causes of paint defects.

Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize defects and improve paint shop quality

Skills:

Strong knowledge of paint shop processes, including pretreatment, painting, and drying techniques.

Experience with quality control methods, including visual inspection, dimensional checks, and statistical process control (SPC).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
