Job Description

The Paintshop Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of paintshop equipment and systems. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of paint application and finishing processes.

Responsibilities

Supervise the upkeep and repairs of all paint shop machinery and systems, such as conveyors, ovens, spray booths, and paint circulation systems.

Create and carry out preventative maintenance plans to guarantee peak performance and save downtime.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, replacing and repairing as needed.

Oversee and work with other contractors to handle specialised upkeep and repairs.

Verify adherence to environmental and safety requirements pertaining to paint shop activities.

Skills:

strong familiarity with paint application tools and procedures.

the capacity to read and decipher schematics and technical drawings.

competence with CMMS (maintenance management software).

strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech

Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
