Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Engineer to lead and manage the maintenance activities within our Paintshop facility in Chennai. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of all paint application equipment, ovens, material handling systems, and related utilities, minimizing downtime and maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day maintenance operations of the Paintshop, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

Develop, implement, and optimize maintenance schedules and procedures for all Paintshop equipment (e.g., spray booths, robots, conveyors, ovens, pumps, filtration systems).

Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within the Paintshop.

Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, predict potential failures, and implement proactive maintenance strategies.

Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and ensure their adherence to safety protocols and work instructions.

Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to address equipment-related issues and implement improvements.

Skills:

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Experience in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Good understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards relevant to Paintshop operations in India.

Educational Qualification: Any BE Degree

Experience: 5+ yrs
