Major Manufacturing Firm Searching a Skilled QA Engineer

Job Description

Primary Task: To create, implement, and carry out quality assurance testing plans and strategies in order to make sure that our processes and manufactured goods satisfy the highest levels of quality, customer demands, and legal compliance in our Chennai plant.

Responsibilities

Define testing scope, objectives, and methodologies to ensure thorough coverage of product and process quality.

Use appropriate testing tools and equipment to conduct tests accurately and efficiently.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams in Chennai to understand root causes and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.

Participate in quality audits and contribute to maintaining compliance.

Identify opportunities for improving QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product and process quality within our Chennai facility.

Communicate effectively on quality-related matters with team members and management.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Required Abilities:

Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools.

Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and document findings effectively.

Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
