Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Site Survey and Reporting:

   - Conduct thorough site surveys and prepare detailed site reports, including technical evaluations and environmental assessments.

2. Installation, Testing, and Commissioning:

   - Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of systems as per the approved design and technical specifications.

   - Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.

3. Operation and Maintenance:

   - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complaints at assigned locations, ensuring resolution within the stipulated time frame.

   - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain system performance and uptime.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

   - Provide all necessary information, drawings, photographs, and documentation to the reporting authority for record-keeping and compliance.

   - Submit daily reports on work completed, outstanding tasks, and challenges encountered via calls, messages, or email.

5. Coordination with DISCOM Authorities:

   - Collaborate with the DISCOM (Distribution Company) authority at the Circle, Division, Subdivision, or substation level to ensure smooth coordination and project execution.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

   - Provide installation, service, and analysis reports in the prescribed format and ensure timely submission to stakeholders.

7. Project Planning:

   - Work with the reporting authority to plan installation and commissioning activities, ensuring all required materials and resources are available in advance.

8. Adherence to Standards and Procedures:

   - Follow all standard operating procedures for tool usage, component handling, and addressing customer complaints.

   - Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards at all times.

9. Inventory Management:

   - Maintain appropriate levels of spare parts and materials for maintenance tasks and report inventory levels daily to ensure continuous operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong technical expertise in system installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.

- Excellent problem-solving skills to address on-site issues efficiently.

- Ability to follow standardized procedures and maintain high-quality work.

- Strong communication skills for daily reporting and coordination with team members and authorities.

- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and collaboration with DISCOM authorities.

- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and handling service reports.

Experience: 1 to 3 yrs

Qualification: Diploma / BE in E&I

Location: Chennai

Salary: From 25K per Month
