HMC Machine Expert Apply Now for a Setter Role

Job Description

Primary Task: To accurately and efficiently set up Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for high-quality and efficient machining operations within our Chennai facility.

Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to understand machining requirements, dimensions, and tolerances.

Inspect tools for wear and damage and replace as needed.

Make necessary adjustments to programs within the scope of authorization.

Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate records.

Report any machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to the maintenance department.

Communicate effectively with machine operators, programmers, and supervisors regarding setup requirements and any issues encountered.

Required Abilities:

Proficiency in selecting, assembling, and setting up a variety of cutting tools and work-holding devices for HMCs.

Experience with different types of HMC controllers (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens).

Strong understanding of machining principles and setup procedures.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.

Experience: 1 to 3 yrs

Qualification: 12th or ITI Graduation
