To find possible vendors and suppliers both locally and abroad

to bargain with local and foreign vendors about terms and contracts

To negotiate commercial deals with foreign suppliers while navigating cultural differences

To evaluate possible areas for cost savings

to establish and preserve connections with both domestic and foreign suppliers

To recognise and evaluate the risks connected to international supply chains or domestic acquisitions
