Quality Assurance Leadership Role Join Us as a QA Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities
1. Quality Standards Development:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and policies to ensure products meet the required specifications and regulatory standards.
- Regularly review and update quality documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
2. Product Inspections and Audits:
- Oversee and manage product inspections, testing, and internal audits to detect defects and non-conformities.
- Analyze inspection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with the production and operations teams to resolve issues through corrective and preventive actions.
3. Quality Improvement:
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and develop strategies for improvement.
4. Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions to educate employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities related to maintaining product quality.
5. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and any other customer-specific requirements.
- Lead preparation for external audits and work closely with certifying bodies to maintain certifications.
6. Performance Monitoring:
- Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality, such as defect rates, on-time delivery, and customer complaints.
- Present quality reports, trends, and improvement plans to senior management to ensure alignment with business goals.
7. Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA):
- Lead investigations into quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Establish preventive measures to avoid future defects or non-conformance, continuously striving for process improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of quality control standards, particularly in manufacturing or production environments.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies for process improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other relevant industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in managing audits, compliance, and certification processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
