Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Prepare Quality Alerts:

   - Develop and disseminate quality alerts to ensure teams are informed of any changes, updates, or potential issues in the production process.

   - Conduct training sessions with the relevant teams to ensure they fully understand the content of the quality alerts and their impact on operations.

2. Rework Oversight:

   - Ensure that no rework activities are performed without an approved work instruction, trained operators, and properly documented results.

   - Oversee the rework process to ensure compliance with company quality standards.

3. Operator Training and Certification:

   - Train operators on quality requirements, ensuring they meet the standards necessary for the production process.

   - Manage and oversee the certification process for operators, including the Magic Square Level 2 certification.

4. Measurement Equipment Maintenance:

   - Ensure that all measurement and testing equipment is maintained in proper working condition.

   - Monitor calibration schedules and ensure all equipment is recalibrated according to the required timelines.

5. Product Respect and Handling:

   - Guarantee that all components, work-in-progress, semi-finished, and finished goods are properly handled, identified, and protected to meet quality standards and customer expectations.

   - Ensure all products are delivered in optimal condition to internal and external customers.

6. Non-Conforming Product Control:

   - Ensure that any suspect or non-conforming products are clearly identified and secured in a designated quarantine or prison cage, preventing them from moving forward in the production process or being shipped to customers.

7. Communication and Reporting:

   - Notify the Lead Operator and/or Supervisor immediately in case of any deviations or abnormalities detected in the production line or machines.

   - Collaborate closely with the production team to keep processes running smoothly.

8. Containment Actions:

   - Work with the Supervisor and Quality Engineer to define and validate immediate containment actions when quality issues arise.

   - Implement and monitor these containment actions to minimize any negative impact on production.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and procedures.

- Experience in conducting training and certifying operators on quality standards.

- Familiarity with measurement equipment calibration and maintenance.

- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting deviations.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to quality issues swiftly.

- Strong organizational skills to ensure the proper handling and control of all product stages, from components to finished goods.
