Job Description

Primary Task: In order to ensure high quality and accuracy for manufacturing operations within our Chennai facility, we must operate and maintain a variety of lathe machines (conventional and/or CNC) to precisely cut, shape, and finish metallic and non-metallic components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

To carry out turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, knurling, and other machining tasks, set up, run, and modify different kinds of lathe equipment.

Arrange the machining steps necessary to make the part precisely and effectively.

Perform both final and in-process quality checks to find any errors or deviations.

Solve simple machine problems and notify the maintenance staff of significant malfunctions.

Within the Chennai facility, strictly follow all company safety policies and industrial safety laws, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.

Required Abilities:

Skilled in using precision measuring instruments for accurate inspection.

Basic understanding of different metal properties and cutting tool materials.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualification: Any ITI Degree
