Job Description

The E&I Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems within our manufacturing/process facility in Chennai. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, instrumentation, control systems, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, switchgear, and lighting systems.

Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot various process instruments including pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters, control valves, and analytical instruments.

Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems to identify faults and ensure proper operation.

Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and loop diagrams.

Skills:

Proven experience as an E&I Technician in a manufacturing, chemical, oil & gas, or similar process industry in India.

Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, and equipment.

Good understanding of various process instrumentation and control systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and schematics.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in E&I

Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
