Job Description

Responsibilities

Utilise computer numerical control (CNC) equipment, such as lathes and milling machines, to carry out machining operations on a variety of materials in accordance with work instructions and designs unique to our Chennai location.

Use precise measuring tools (callipers, micrometres, gauges) to conduct in-process quality checks to confirm part dimensions and adherence to tolerances specified in blueprints.

Find and quickly report any tool wear, machine malfunctions, or quality problems to the Chennai maintenance team or supervisor.

To ensure safe working conditions in our Chennai factory, keep the workspace surrounding the CNC machine neat and orderly.

When using CNC equipment, follow all business policies and safety regulations.

Accurately follow setup documents, work instructions, and quality control protocols.

Skills
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and blueprints.

Familiarity with CNC machine operation and control panels.

Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Basic understanding of machining processes and cutting tools.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th or Above
